Dawaagin Gabeshi

Saturday, September 27, 202510:00 amSunday, September 28, 20254:00 pm

"Dagwaagin" is an Ojibwe term for "Fall", "Gabeshiwin" is Ojibwe for Camp. This Fall Gathering features several re-enactors demonstrating flint knapping, fire-starting, rope making, duck decoys constructed from cattails, and more - think of it as a mini-Rendezvous along with shorter self guided tours of the historic site and Ojibwe Village. Several primitive camps will be set up. Tomahawk throwing and archery are included in this event.

School groups are invited to come to the event on Wednesday through Friday, September 24-26, 2025

Orange wildflowers.
