Stepping Back In Time

The North West and XY trading posts, and the Ojibwe Village constructed at Forts Folle Avoine are accurate depictions reflecting the close relationship that existed between the European fur traders and their Ojibwe trading partners who operated here between 1802 and 1805.

You will be educated and entertained as the period-dressed interpreter speaks about the life and culture of these early occupants. 

The self guided walking tour, with a period-dressed interpreters onsite  and visits to the museums is completed in about two hours. 

  • ​Our tour includes uphill and downhill walking. We have a golf cart available to assist visitors.
