β¨ Dawaagin is a celebration for all ages β blending history, culture, and community in the crisp autumn air.
This Fall Gathering features several re-enactors demonstrating flint knapping, fire-starting, rope making, duck decoys constructed from cattails, and more - think of it as a mini-Rendezvous along with shorter self guided tours of the historic site and Ojibwe Village. Several primitive camps will be set up. Tomahawk throwing and archery are included in this event.
We will be having a gun collector with pre-1840 North West trade guns, trade silver, trade axes and other related items to display and talk about.
School groups are invited to come to the event on Wednesday through Friday, September 24-26, 2025
