Do you have some time on your hands? Would you like to meet new friends? Are you interested in the history that is so important to the Burnett County community? Whatever your interests, be assured volunteering at The Forts will be a wonderful experience!
Only at the Forts can you immerse yourself in the fur trade era, come to know its colorful history by seeing the reconstructed sites, view historical exhibits, visit a Burnett County one-room school, have an opportunity to research in the archival library, participate in re-created events and--from the moment you enter the gates--revel in the incomparable beauty of the site's majestic white pines and soothing, serene ambiance.
