Great Folle Avoine Fur Trade Rendezvous
July 23, 24, and 25, 2010
Dozens of fur trade camps
filled Sayer's Field and Trader's Row during Rendezvous 2010! Represented were a variety of
unique characters--gathering together after their winter of trapping. Goods were traded, stories told and a good time was enjoyed by rendezvous campers and all the visitors! Demonstrations of
period skills-- including black powder, archery and tomahawk--were held. Tasty food prepared in the fur-trade era manner was available. The Great Folle Avoine Fur Trade Rendezvous once again this year was enthusiastically received by crowds who came to experience this important era of history in Northwest Wisconsin!
